Very good value for the amount I was charged. The staff were friendly, polite and always on reception. The room was clean and comfortable.
Ignore negative reviews. Helpful friendly staff comfy beds and room. You could actually open the windows unlike Premier inn for example. Nice bar and good value for money

Beth was amazing at guiding me step by step how the hotel works absolutely fantastic clear fluid instructions and very friendly I don't go to hotels regularly but I'm sure I will alot more now. Mount hotels You have a diamond. Not many people can give me clear instructions as I am completely half deaf but Beth was there on hand when needed and she went the extra mile to help. If you want a top Quality hotel...this is it.. Polite, helpful and cheerful staff upon entering reception, made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in... given directions to the room. Room was awesome, comfortable and clean...and warm Bar is absolutely perfection, so comfy...best hotel ive ever stayed in in Wales.

We had a great 3 night stay here. V friendly and helpful staff and a great location.. very good value and a nice quiet room. Ideal for exploring Barry and the Vale of Glamorgan if on a budget. Very close to the station and great coffee shops in the high street 300 metres away. Right in the heart of Gavin and Stacey territory.
Family event held in one of their spaces. Well set-up, friendly staff, reasonable food options (though limited catering to allergies and intolerances), fairly wide options at bar. Best to liaise with them in person as not always easy to get hold of them and have questions answered via email. On the day, we had a very good experience!
